This ad is from 1949, and I love every single pair. I own a modern pair very similar to the ones at the lower right. I think I bought them at TJ Maxx several years ago. Love those! Back in my 20's I used to comb thrift and vintage stores for sunglasses and had a 1950's big blue cat eye pair that was a fave for many years. Wish I still had those!

I think the yellow ones with the deeply set lenses are great fun, but I wonder how they would affect my peripheral vision.
